Leslie Malady born on October 28, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio, is a former professional wrestler and wrestling trainer. He made his debut in 1960 and throughout his career worked in various promotions, notably as part of a "cousins" team in the 60s and 70s. In addition to his in-ring work, Thatcher also became a commentator and announcer for several promotions, such as Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern Championship Wrestling.
In the 90s, he founded the Heartland Wrestling Association and produced the Brian Pillman Memorial Show. He was also a pioneer in wrestling merchandising and participated in drag racing and bodybuilding.
Throughout his life, he was an active member of the Cauliflower Alley Club and co-founded Elite Pro Wrestling Training. He also hosted programs like Wrestling Weekly. His legacy is significant both in the ring and in his contribution to training and supporting new talent.
