While celebrating New Year, Lovro meets Ema and they start dating. He invites her to hang out with Jakov and the girls, as the squad prepares a welcoming party for Nora and Roko, who are expected to return from Amsterdam. Lovro starts to show his insecurities while dating Ema.

After dreaming about Ivan, Lovro learns that Tina has invited him to a karaoke party. Tina insists that Lovro and the boys attend in exchange for the weed Lovro left behind the other night. Ivan invites Lovro to his place.

Lovro faces a slur at PE, stays at Nora's, hears Vito argue with his boyfriend, and reconnects with Ema. At his party, he and Ivan exchange looks. Later, decorating a tossed tree, Ivan tries to kiss him, but Lovro pulls away.

Lovro tries reaching Ivan, who ignores him. Lovro introduces Ema to his mum. After an escape room hangout, Sonja sets up a double date. On the date, Ivan and Lovro sneak off, break into a pool, and kiss underwater.

Lovro grows closer to Ivan, sharing kisses and confessions while ignoring Ema. Vito questions him, and Lovro's internalized homophobia strains things. After Sonja finds the messages, Ivan pulls away and Ema breaks up with Lovro.

Lovro ignores Ivan for telling Sonja about their relationship. Nora returns upset from Amsterdam, and Lovro, Eva and Masa comfort her. Ema reassures Lovro and keeps his secret. Next day, encouraged by her, he comes out to Jakov.

Lovro pushes away his mother but opens up to Vito, who shares his story and takes him to a ballroom night. Rumors spread about Lovro and Ivan; Ivan ends things with Sonja.

Lovro grows closer to Ivan but struggles with public affection, loses Filip over homophobia, comes out to his mum, and faces school drama before another argument with Ivan that ends with Ivan streaking through the streets.
