Victory by Air

Episode 1, "The Pioneers," begin s in 1903 with Orville and Wilbur Wright, then follows the chronology of the airplane through World War I

Episode 2 examines how pilots in the Post-WW1 years managed to achieve many of the challenges set forth by aeronautic engineers

Episode 3 looks at how the Spanish Civil War served as a proving ground for the planes of the Third Reich, and how planes around the globe gained better performance as a product of militaristic involvements;

Episode 4 discusses advancements in airplanes and air combat during WWII.

Episode 5 examines how WWII dramatically expanded the geographic boundaries of war, and thus made an indelible impact on the types of planes that needed to be enlisted.
