Ek Nayi Ummeed: Roshni

Roshni is a doctor by profession in London. She is eager to do her fellowship under Dr Raghunandan, a noted cardiac surgeon. Roshni's grandfather, Dr AK Singh, helps her in investigating a patient's case. Roshni gets a chance to assist Dr Raghunandan but she messes it up.

Dr Raghunandan shows his disappointment to Dr Roy. Rajat shows the hospital he has built, to his mother. Dr Roy tells Roshni about Raghunandan's decision to leave the administration panel. Rajat asks Dr Siddiqui to join his hospital. Roshni apologises to Dr Raghunandan.

Sharad tells Rajat about their financier cutting down the funds. Roshni shares her woes with her grandfather. Anand tells Vasundhra about Roshni's incident with Dr Raghunandan. Nik criticises Roshni for deciding for his patient, to impress the seniors.

Roshni's decision for Nik's patient turns out to be right. Nik sends some flowers and a gift to Roshni as an apology. Rajat talks to his grandfather about requesting Anand to work as a surgeon at their hospital. Roshni decides to operate on Dr Raghunandan's patient in an emergency.

The cardiothoracic resident doctor questions Roshni for operating on the patient without him. Roshni talks to her grandfather about the situation. Vasundhara tells Rajat about preponing the inauguration of their hospital. Dr Roy asks Roshni for an apology for breaking the protocol!

Raghunandan tells Roshni about making her work under him as a resident doctor after she clears MRCS. Roshni, Nik and Doodle clear the MRCS. Roshni tells AK about clearing the MRCS exam. She tells Dr Roy about returning to India. Sharad and Rajat approach an illegal financier, Tyagi, for funds.

Tyagi learns that Rajat is Dr AK's grandson. Sharad and Rajat decide to speak to AK. Badri learns from Tyagi that Rajat had met him for money. Roshni, Nikhil and Nitin board their flight to India. Rajat tells Anand to start doing surgeries again. Vasundhara tells AK about the monetary crisis.

Roshni helps a sick passenger on the flight. AK suggests to mortgage Leela Nursing Home.The police close down the nursing home, claiming it to be built on illegal land. The family receives Roshni at the airport. Roshni calls Rajat.

Dr AK makes Roshni realise that he is happy with her medical skills. Roshni is delighted to visit the Leela Hospital while Rajat shares his feelings with her. Anand and Dr AK are shocked learning that Mona attempted suicide. They get her admitted to a hospital. Roshni and Rajat take care of Mona.

Rajat recalls the times spent with Mona. Mona regains consciousness. Rajat tells Roshni that Leela Nursing Home is under mortgage. Nikhil and Nitin visit Roshni. Badri tells AK that Nitin would be a good groom for Roshni. Elsewhere, a conspiracy is being hatched against Leela hospital.

Badri gets emotional recalling Leela. However, Roshni manages to cheer him up. Dr AK is felicitated at the inauguration ceremony of the Leela Hospital. He pays his gratitude to Rajat and Vasundhara. Roshni, Nitin and Nikhil attend the function at the hospital and interact with the invitees.

Rajat tells the doctor to be ready with the emergency procedure. Nikhil, Nitin and Roshni arrive to help the patients. Rajat tries to arrange for O -ve blood for a patient. Roshni and Nikhil begin the operation. Sharad and Badri try to arrange for the blood.

Rajat takes the case of an accident victim. Roshni, Nikhil and Nitin are appreciated for saving the life of a patient. Rajat addresses the media and talks about the facilities at the Leela Hospital. Nikhil is in love with Roshni. Rajat urges Mona to join Leela.

Rajat tries to sympathise with Mona. Nikhil, Nitin and Roshni are happy to spend some time together. However, they get worried after Badri falls sick and gets admitted to the Leela hospital. Dr AK is shocked learning about Badri's illness and rushes to the hospital.

Dr Malhotra has intentions to cheat a patient of Leela hospital. Vasundhara learns about the incident. She gets upset seeing Badri's condition. AK refuses to go home. Roshni tells Nitin and Nikhil about AK and Badri's friendship. Badri regains consciousness.
