Ek Nayi Ummeed: Roshni

Roshni spends quality time with Rajat, Mona, Nikhil and Nitin. Rajat is annoyed at Sharad for admitting a patient with a bullet wound without informing the police. Nikhil and Nitin accept Rajat's offer to work at the Leela Hospital. However, Mona is not happy with Rajat's decision.

Roshni is happy about Nikhil and Nitin joining the Leela Hospital. Later, she handles an emergency case of a HIV patient, Nisha, who has attempted suicide. Pinto and Malhotra's attendants attempt to kill Nisha. Roshni strives to save Nisha's life.

Roshni is pleased with the recovery of Nisha, an HIV patient. Pintu vents out his anger on his attendant for failing to kill Nisha. Nikhil and Nitin are eager to begin their medical practice at the Leela Hospital. Rajat and Mona are upset about Roshni’s concern for Nisha.

Roshni enquires about Nisha’s blood donor. She learns that the donor was HIV positive. She arranges a press meet to discuss Nisha’s case and calls for advanced testing methods to detect HIV. Later, Raghunath Tiwari visits the Leela Hospial and asks Rajat to meet him.

Roshni has a chat with Nikhil. Raghunath Tiwari wants his daughter-in-law to undergo an abortion but without her consent. In order to earn money, Sharad takes up the abortion case of a patient and asks Rajat to abort a girl foetus. Later, Roshni stops Rajat and protests against an illegal abortion.

Roshni learns that Raghunath is forcing his daughter-in-law Anjali to undergo an abortion. She protests against Raghunath and secures justice for Anjali. Mona does not like Roshni's concern for her patients. Roshni is upset about the sudden demise of Sameer's father.

Nikhil is eager to spend some time with Roshni. However, Roshni is sad about the death of Dr. Sameer's father. Roshni consoles Sameer. Later, she admits him to the hospital when he gets a paralytic stroke!

Roshni is worried about Sameer's ailment and takes care of him. She introduces Nikhil to Sameer. Nikhil takes care of Sameer and the two talk about Roshni. Mona is impressed with Pintu's financial strategies for Leela Hospital and is happy to promote it.

Parvati is happy to get Nitin's attention and spends some time with him. Roshni helps Sameer recover and regain his memory. However, Nikhil is upset with Roshni for taking extra care of Sameer and misunderstands their relationship, making Roshni sad.

Nikhil apologises to Roshni for hurting her sentiments and the two reunite. Dr Sameer is shocked to see Nikhil and Roshni's proximity. He resigns from the Leela Hospital. Rajat, Mona and Roshni are shocked by Sameer's decision. Rajat wants Roshni to take charge of the critical care unit.

Nikhil and Roshni enjoy their time with Parvati Laxmi and Nitin. Rajat appoints Roshni as the in-charge of the ICU and makes her realise her potential. However, Mona is upset with Rajat's decision. Pintu abuses medical services for financial profit.

Rajat doesn't like Dr Kamal for misguiding cardiac patients for monetary gains. Rajat is disappointed when Mona appoints him at the Leela hospital. Mona is eager to promote the financial growth of the Leela hospital. Roshni becomes emotional on recalling past incidents.

Dr Malhotra misleads a patient for financial gain. Under Pintu's guidance, he unethically removes a kidney from the patient. Sharad is shocked as the Leela hospital receives a legal notice alleging medical malpractice. Roshni is upset with Mona for hiring Dr. Kamal.

Roshni watches a footage where Dr. Malhotra and Pintu, a medical broker, are involved in removing a patient’s kidney. She is angry at Mona for hiring Pintu at the Leela hospital, while Rajat is furious with Pintu for his misdeed. Later, Pintu blackmails both Rajat and Mona.

Roshni is upset to read about the legal notice issued to Leela hospital. She decides to take a stern action against the corrupt doctors. She takes the help of lawyer Anuradha for this. Nikhil befriends Dr. Malhotra in order to gain his trust.

Cardiologist Kamal cheats his patients for financial gain. Roshni is angry with him for manipulating medical services of the Leela hospital. Pintu and Dr Malhotra plan to remove a patient’s kidney. Nikhil tricks Dr Malhotra in order to gain his trust.
