Bruno Santos

Biography

Bruno Santos is an experimental filmmaker, video editor, and aspiring film critic. He was born in São Paulo in 2002. He graduated with a degree in Audiovisual Production from Universidade Metodista de São Paulo in 2023 and has since been dedicated to developing his own artistic projects. In early 2024, he released his first film, Pimenta Landscape, an experimental feature directed and edited by Bruno, co-directed by Letícia Gaver. In July of the same year, he released Escombro, a collage and found footage film focused on portraying disasters caused by climate change and the exploitation of natural resources. In early 2025, he released his third film, 09-10, a personal record filmed on Insecam during the impact of Hurricane Milton on the coast of Florida. His work focuses on reflections on anthropocentrism and the relationship between human beings and nature. Bruno has been writing about cinema since 2020 and has produced several pieces of film criticism. In addition to his films, he develops unproduced screenplays and occasionally works in marketing.
