Venci Venc’ (Ventsislav Chanov) is one of the leading voices in Bulgarian hip-hop. He first stepped onto the scene in 2012 as one half of Pavell & Venci Venc’, the duo he formed with Pavell. Together, they created a sound that mixed hip-hop, pop, and R&B in a way that connected with a whole new audience. The duo quickly became known for their live energy and creative approach to music, dropping hits like “SeTaaBrat,” “Mojito,” “Dope,” “Bubba,” and “Na men mi pisna.” Their debut album SeTaaBrat shot to #1 on iTunes Bulgaria and helped redefine what mainstream hip-hop could sound like locally. With over 20 hit singles and 100 million+ streams, they secured their place as one of the most successful acts on the scene.
Outside of his own music, Venci Venc’ has written for some of Bulgaria’s biggest artists, including DARA, Lyubo Kirov, Mihaela Marinova, and others. His work has earned him multiple awards, including three-time BG Duo of the Year and Group of the Year at the 356 Hip-Hop Awards.
In 2023, Venci Venc’ launched his solo career with the emotional ballad “Davam,” followed by singles like “Slanchogledi” and “Momchetata ot bloka,” which showed his range as an artist and helped establish him as a solo voice. In 2024, he kept the momentum going with new solo projects, growing his audience both in Bulgaria and beyond, and experimenting with new sounds.
By 2025, Venci Venc’ also stepped into a producer role. His first project was with 16-year-old newcomer DARYA, and on February 13, 2025, they dropped their first collaboration, “Zatvor”—a track that marked the start of a new chapter in his career behind the scenes.
