The second season of The Thirteenth Apostle picks up where everything left off: is Gabriel truly the Chosen One who will overthrow the church, or will he be able to change his destiny? Servants and the Candelaio organization seem defeated, but in reality, there's still much to discover in order to stop them and understand the reasons for their fight, which, from the very beginning, proves even more threatening and dangerous. To complicate matters, Gabriel has given up on his relationship with Claudia, but he has never stopped loving her.

Gabriel must navigate the religious fanaticism of the faithful and the rigid dogmas of the ecclesiastical elite, questioning the meaning of faith. A girl, almost completely drained of blood but still alive, unleashes fear in a country village. Gabriel and Claudia must confront a legendary creature: a vampire. Gabriel, tormented by his powers, must decide whether to leave the Church.
Gabriel has left the priesthood to live with Claudia, when his patient and old friend, Francesca, manages to bring to life a demonic monster capable of emerging from a person's dreams and then killing them in reality. The nightmare also interacts with Claudia, who falls victim to it. A young woman hears her dead son's cries deep in the catacombs near her home, and the same sounds are heard first by a medium and then by the local parish priest. Everyone in her family believes she's a poor madwoman, but the girl refuses to give up and manages to contact Father Gabriel and Claudia.
Claudia is taken hostage by Bonifacio Serventi's organization, which uses the moment to initiate a malignant process within Claudia so that Gabriel, in addition to using his dark power against Serventi himself, can use it. For Gabriel, it is the final showdown: caught between Serventi, who wants him to be the chosen one and embrace his dark power, and the Warrior Order, who wants to eliminate him for his very power. Gabriel is alone and risks losing Claudia forever.
